Gangnam Style by Psy is now officially on the US iTunes chart at No.1 beating out Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” and Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake”. The music video has already reached over 45 million views in a little over one month on Youtube.

The Korean slang “Gangnam Style” refers to a luxurious lifestyle associated with the Gangnam district, an affluent and trendy area of Seoul, South Korea. The music video has Psy dancing at various locations in Gangnam. Apparently, the song’s theme is about “the perfect girlfriend who knows when to be refined and when to get wild.”

No, this isn’t a joke. This is K-Pop at its best. So prepare your soul for; the toilet scene, the new dance that is sure to take clubs by storm and the extremely catchy chorus that you’ll be singing while you shower. Here is “Gangnam Style“:
