Anxious? Read this post about your impending death!

Apparently, according to a 12 year study in Canadia, taking medication to treat anxiety and/or insomnia may shorten some people’s lives. The findings are based on a pool of 14 000 people ranging in age from 18 to 102 years and tracking their mortality rates.

For respondents who reported taking medication for insomnia or anxiety at least once in the month, the mortality rate over the 12-year period was 15.7 percent. In comparison, respondents who had reported not using such medication had a mortality rate of 10.5 percent.
