I recently discovered a picture of Matthew David Lewis (Neville Longbottom) post Harry Potter and all grown up… whoa, he definitely knows how to win at puberty! It got me thinking about movies i liked as a kid and whether the children in those movies also went through a magical transformation. Little Rascals is the only movie i can remember that had a majority child cast and where the kids weren’t exactly the prettiest i’ve ever seen on a tv screen… or even in real life.
Most of us kinda stumble through puberty and come out the other side pretty much the same as we went in – average looking. Let’s see how the cast of Little Rascals fared, and whether i’d tap that or not:
Alfalfa – Brandon “Bug” Hall
Spanky – Travis Tedford
Darla – Brittany Ashton Holmes
Stymie – Kevin Jamal Woods
Porky – Zachary Mabry
Butch – Sam Seletta
Waldo – Blake McIver Ewing
I dont know about you, but i feel a whole helluva lot better after seeing this… It seems like actors and actresses aren’t immune to growing up ugly either. Funnily enough, the hottest one now, was the grossest one back then… Alfalfa (Brandon Hall), i’d totally tap that.
